Bees are crucial to the entire food chain, all the way up to humans. They pollinate plants across the planet. In other words, they serve a critical role in the world.
The average person thinks of bees as a nuisance. Something to be avoided or killed. We all have an image in our heads of a friend doing the bee dance to avoid getting stung.
But did you know bee populations are declining at an alarming rate? Pesiticide use and disease means bees are less and less able to do their jobs.
Rather than wait for the government to do something, one duo decided to do something about this very real, but underpublicized problem.
They spent 10 years developing a new kid of bee hive that’s better for bees, beekeepers, and harvesting honey. They called it the Flow Hive. It was so popular that they were able to raise more than $12,000,000 on IndieGoGo to fund the project.
Maybe you don’t care about bees. But I would bet you care about something. Will you build the next bee hive or sit on the sidelines while things get worse?
Do something.
