Sometimes we get so caught up in our own priorities, we forget that not everyone can be a favor taker. Someone has to actually do the favors.

It turns out that the doing of favors is much more satisfying than asking for the same favor to be done for you.

Embracing that world view of the giver is the hard part. It requires us to get out of our own heads and step into a mindset of generosity. It requires a belief that the act of giving is a reward in and of itself.

As the talented writer and author, Jeff Goins, puts it, “Become known for DOING favors, not asking for them.”
