Me is easy. It’s natural.
What do I need? What do I want? What is the fastest way to get what I need or want?
These questions are what we ask ourselves when we have no concern for others. No responsibility for others. No sense of service to others.
But what would happen if we turned those questions into we questions.
What do we, as a team, need? What do we, as a team, want? What is the best way to get what we need and want as a team?
Perhaps most importantly, how can we get what we need and want while also helping everyone to grow, learn, and develop into a better person?
Sure, it’s harder to choose servant leadership. But is there any better way to lead?
