Make Time

It’s easy to create excuses for why you haven’t been spending time with the people you say matter most to you.

We can’t take that weekend trip. We don’t have time for that dinner party.

Is that really true? Or is there something else behind the excuses?

The power of community is strong. Time spent with friends and family is never wasted time. We’re social animals. We thrive when we have the support of others who care deeply about us and vice versa.

Sure, pick the people carefully, but make time to build community. It’s time well spent.

Thanks to Jess & Ben Gooding for the inspiration for this post. A weekend with great friends always reminds me why relationships matter so much.
